Langyaw Travel, my travel column will appear monthly and will focus on heritage and culture. For this first issue, I wrote about my adventure in Apayao in north Luzon, searching for the old church ruins of Mataguisi in Pudtol, a town then under the Dominican order.
This is a new direction for me as a travel blogger. Although I have contributed travel articles and have been published in newspapers and other magazines, this is the first time that I have a dedicated travel column. Great thanx to Lorraine Lorenzo, who invited me last November to be part of the magazine and to the editorial team of Going Places headed by Joe Chua, the Chief Editor for welcoming me and having me as one of the regular columnists.
The magazine is available nationwide in the Philippines and select cities like Dubai, Hawaii, Guam and many more.
