I’m growing a new ring around my trunk today.

Calvary Hills is located within the grounds of the Spanish colonial era church of Iguig, Cagayan. This area is known for its lifesize images of the stations of the cross which is popular with devotees during the Holy Week. Its elevation provides breathtaking views of the valley made fertile by the Cagayan River.

Condura Run 2010 participant

The Condura Run is one of the most awaited marathon races in Metro Manila and many of my runner friends attest to this. It is also the only race in the country that takes over a portion of the Skyway, an elevated road system starting in Buendia, Makati City, for the 21K and 42K runs.

This morning, I woke up earlier than usual and since part of the route is very near my place, I walked just walked to Buendia for a few minutes and waited for the runners there.

While on a media tour of North Luzon, we were brought to a portion of the tributary of the Ambuklao River in Benguet. The tour operator offers fine dining, al fresco, with butler and chef while the guests are supposed to enjoy the food and the natural environment.

During the Lakbay Norte media tour, there were two drivers who alternately go behind the wheel while we went around North Luzon. One of them is Rey, comedic and funny that sometimes makes us laugh and smile during the boring moments inside the bus.
