Both restaurants are interesting. NIU, of course is stunning but a minimalist’s nightmare! It has so many things going on but well designed. There’s texture and patterns and lots of details that will keep you delighted. On the other hand, Four Season’s Hotpot is more reserved and more eye friendly. In the interview, the owner mentioned that it was patterned after a highend supermarket abroad.
I also interviewed Architect Aranda for this piece. His firm has designed all but one of the Vikings restaurants around the country and he said that the challenge is more on the design concept as not one branch are the same. Other than this feature, I also did an advertorial for Finnwood.
