I was fortunate enough to accompany Clister, a bio field researcher, during a trip/trek in the hinterlands of Cebu province, specifically Tabunan Forest near the Transcentral Highway last Monday. This was a trip that I have long wanted to do but, as I am not familiar with the area, never made it.

Clister recently graduated from the University of San Carlos as a Biology student and to his name, have discovered several new species of water bugs and tiger beetles. One of which has already been published and named Thopeutica pangantihoni CASSOLA & ZETTEL 2006 from Polillo Islands.
