Chimamanda Adichie: The danger of a single story

Monday, October 26th, 2009

I found this quite inspiring video that resonates not only in the literary world but also in Photography. Of how the long suffering and the poverty of third world countries are being perpetuated by the West’s concept and idea of these lands. This will be of great interest to majority world photographers.

Best in Photoblog and a Nokia 6700 as prize

I was at the Philippine Blog Awards, Cebu leg, last night held at the Ayala Sports Center to get my award for this site under the category Best Photoblog. While I expected the trophy, I never thought that Nokia included its 6700 classic phone!

Trophies and stuff I got from last nights award ceremonies.

La Naval portraits

Upon the invitation of Fr. Jeff, OP, I was at the La Naval procession yesterday. While I’ve covered the event two years ago, I was looking for images that I may add to my Pagtu-o work. This time, I was focusing more on portraits of people around the church and procession.

Check my Pagtu-o site for the photo story of the La Naval I did two years ago.
