The Demotix widget is now live at the telegraph.co.uk news website. Shown there is one of my image which was part of my photo essay, The Rags of Bagong Barrio, my first submission. It was featured in the widget last 29 May and will sit there for four days.
Demotix is a new entrant into the stock photo business with special focus on news and features from contributions by citizen journalists as well as freelance photojournalists. Their widget showcases the best of these submissions and are subscribed by many news and media sites around the world of which the Telegraph of the United Kingdom is just one of 53, and growing, subscribers. Other big names include Newsweek, Le Monde, Al Jazeera, Stern, Le Figaro, BBC, ABC, The Guardian, The Observer and The Huffington Post.
