Traditional media... is well traditional... I guess all major news publications have contracts with major news wires like AFP, Associated Press, etc. I guess the problem with citizen journalists is that they are not professionals... in the Philippines I see that 28 people are registered. I only recognized a few names... and only 5 people seems to be active. It looks a bit like bloggers... they come and go all the time... very few have the discipline to continue... I believe in citizen journalism but more as one time contributors. But of course... you have nothing to loose and I like the idea! Good luck !
