As part of a final year assignment subject “Industry Research & Placement”, I have chosen to write a case study that prepares students about the pros and cons of entering the creative industry with particular emphasis on the area of Documentary Film and Photography.

I am currently a student in my final year at James Cook University in Townsville, Australia studying a Bachelor in New Media Arts, majoring in Digital Imaging/Visual Arts. I have chosen to focus on artists that have produced beautiful work that inspires me as well as photography/film enthusiasts who work in this creative field. Like you I am passionate about Documentary Photography particularly ethnographic.

I would love to ask you some questions with regards to your work and would love to have a email address so I could attach a word document (to make things a little less difficult). My goal is to write an honest and thought provoking case study on the industry I am passionate about.
